Laserfiche Import Agent maximizes document accessibility by automating document importing and document management within the Laserfiche repository. Laserfiche Import Agent looks for documents wherever they are created and sends those documents to a Laserfiche folder.
The Laserfiche Import Agent monitors single or multiple locations. For example, an MFP captures documents and stores these documents in a directory. Laserfiche Import Agent automatically looks for specified documents in that directory and moves them to the Laserfiche repository.
Laserfiche Import Agent promotes efficient document management by designating a destination folder for captured documents. The destination folder does not have to exist in the Laserfiche repository prior to importing the document. If the destination folder does not exist when the captured document is imported, it will be automatically created. Moreover, Laserfiche Import Agent provides for naming a captured document using the original file name. Automatic assignment of index card field data to captured documents upon importing them is an additional capability of Laserfiche Import Agent.
