Dan Foster has been a valuable leader at General Code for nearly a decade, serving as Vice President of Business Development for seven years. In this capacity, Dan was responsible for General Code business growth and new product development for all parts of the company including sales to local governments. Over the years, Dan has worked closely with the sales, marketing and production personnel at General Code to understand customer needs and to determine how best to deliver solutions to meet those needs. More recently, in his role as Vice President of Content Management Solutions, Dan has taken pleasure in actively working with Clerks and other local government officials around the country to help progressive communities create efficient and effective access to municipal information.
Dan’s commitment to empowering organizations to realize greater efficiency, more effective service and robust transparent information management is unparalleled. Recognizing the crucial need to ‘do more with less’ with an eye on tightening budgets, Dan has worked with his Content Management team to partner with technology developers to provide the most operationally effective, easily implemented and cost-effective solutions for our customers.
Prior to joining General Code Dan served as President and COO of a large marketing services firm based in Rochester, NY having worked for years with such accounts as Westlaw and Kodak Business Imaging. Dan and his wife Karen have two daughters and reside in Penfield, NY. Dan is a 1982 graduate of Ferris State University, Big Rapids, MI. His degree is in marketing and advertising.
