In the Spring issue of Decoder, we told you about the growth of General Code’s family and business. Now we’d like to introduce recent additions to the General Code management group: Barry Keesan, Vice President of Operations, and Ken Koppenhaver, Product Manager of Document Management Services. They join our team with a depth of knowledge and experience that will enable them to guide and support General Code’s growth and innovation. We’re confident that Barry and Ken will enhance our commitment to delighting you, our customers, with the development and integration of our product and service offerings.
Barry Keesan brings to General Code over 25 years of experience leading publishing and technical services companies with a record of excellence. Barry, who is an architect, chaired the Planning Board of the Town of Brighton, a Rochester suburb and longtime General Code customer. “I am proud to be part of General Code, a company that I have always admired for its forward thinking and intense dedication to customers and employees. I believe that General Code’s integrated set of services, from codification to electronic document management and municipal software, will enable us to maintain our preeminent position as the quality leader in our field.”
Ken Koppenhaver also brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to General Code. As the former Information Technology Director for the Town of Irondequoit, another Rochester suburb, Ken’s first experience with General Code was as a customer. “The Town has been a General Code customer for several years and utilizes PC/CodeBook, E-Code, and Laserfiche®. General Code’s technical specialists and sales team showed great respect for the Town’s needs and provided us great support. Now, as the new Product Manager, it is my goal, and the goal of my team, to meet the needs of our clients as General Code always met mine.” Ken's background includes work as a consultant, systems analyst, and information technology manager in both the private and the public sectors.
The addition of Barry and Ken strengthens our ability to provide the level of excellence you have come to expect from General Code. “Our decision to hire Barry and Ken underscores our commitment to operational excellence and positions General Code to be able to grow our product breadth and service offerings,” affirms Gary Domenico, President of General Code.
