It gives me great pleasure to nominate Joan I. Anderson for the distinguished honor of "2002 Municipal Clerks Honor Roll." Mrs. Anderson has been an integral part of the Township Clerk's Office since 1969. She became Deputy Clerk in 1974 and Township Clerk in 1978 where she continues to serve today.

In my 12 years as a municipal manager, Mrs. Anderson is one of the most organized Clerks I have worked with. She is committed to serving the public in professional and courteous fashion and she is very sensitive to saving tax dollars whenever possible.

Being new to Hamilton Township, I rely heavily on Mrs. Anderson for historical information and past practice.

Joan I. Anderson is most deserving of this award.
