| Reason Nominated: She organized and implemented events to celebrate Woodlynne's 100th birthday in 2001.
The 100th year celebration was a great success. We had a parade to house the new fire truck, a play, a concert, a larger parade and celebration for the 4th of July, and the grand finale was a parade, which included two string bands and ended with a pig roast at the Borough Hall. This would not have been accomplished without Ronnie's hard work. She even spent hours working on a birthday cake float, along with others. This was just one of the extras which she does all the time. She helps coordinate the Youth Week activities each year. I feel that this award will show that she is appreciated by the Borough.
The Borough has received a Recreation for the Handicapped grant, yearly Community Development, and most recently, a grant to improve the playground facilities, through her efforts. Ronnie spends numerous hours over and above business hours working for the Borough, on her own time. I feel she is an asset as well as a credit to the community.
