Reason Nominated:
Nancy is
always willing to help. As a Clerk in a neighboring town, I call her
with a question and she always take the time to answer it. If she cannot
answer the question, she helps to find the answer. She is helpful to
her townspeople as well. She has worked hard to keep her office updated
and has worked with her assistant to input onto the computer many of
their vital records, saving much time when someone comes in asking for
a certified copy of a vital record.
She started
as Assistant Town Clerk over 10 years ago. When the Town Clerk stepped
down, Nancy took over. She has not become certified yet as she has been
unable to attend the CMC classes. She attends almost all the state and
local conferences and keeps herself current.
