Joanne Kwasniewski has always given back to the County and State associations, through her volunteer efforts. She currently serves as the Vice-President of the Bergen County Municipal Clerks' Association and on the Education Committee for the Municipal Clerks' Association of New Jersey. She has worked on the education portion of the Municipal Clerks' Association of New Jersey's annual Spring conference for several years.

Joanne is currently serving as the Acting Manager of Fair Lawn, in addition to her duties as the Municipal Clerk. She has double the work, and due to a retirement, does not have a secretary for the Manager's position. Somehow, she gets it all done, with a cheerful attitude, despite the lack of staff.

Joanne is very knowledgeable and willing to share her expertise with other Municipal Clerks. As one of the longtime Municipal Clerks in Bergen County, she has the experience and background to advise other Municipal Clerks on almost any subject.

In closing, Joanne Kwasniewski is worthy of being placed on the 2003 Municipal Clerks Honor Roll. Please honor her dedication to the profession of the Municipal Clerk by giving her this recognition.
