Reason Nominated:

I am nominating Dan because of his outstanding service and genuine care to Townsend and its citizens. Dan is also a Selectmen here in Town and gives countless hours of dedicated service to our Town. Dan is responsible for opening the Clerks office on Saturday mornings, so that the citizens can come in on Saturdays, in fact his office is the only office here in Town that is open on Saturday. Dan has also brought passport service here to the Town Clerks office, in order to better assist Townsend's residents. Dan has also made a by-law to be sure all fees collected by the Town Clerk are deposited into the general fund for the benefit of the Towns People. Daniel J. Murphy is honest, caring, helpful, hardworking and one great Town Clerk.
