As Mayor of the Town of Dauphin Island, Alabama, I write to nominate "Ginger" for the 2004 Municipal Clerks Honor Roll. Ginger has been employed by the Town of Dauphin Island for 7 years and has provided exceptional service to our community during her tenure with the municipality. As Town Clerk, Ginger serves in a supervisory capacity over 4 other office personnel including budget & finance, court clerk/magistrate and license & permits departments. In addition, she serves as secretary to the Town Council and fields questions and complaints from local citizens and visitors alike. The Town is very fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring individual as part of its workforce. Her professionalism and work ethics are exemplary and her sense of "Town Spirit" is unmistakable. It is for these, and many other reasons, that I respectfully request your favorable consideration to include Ginger Simpson on the 2004 Municipal Clerks Honor Roll.
