She is very deserving because when the new administration came into city hall there were many problems found from the previous administration. At this time Mary was a Water Clerk for the city. We began taking application for the position of City Clerk and she received the position due to her knowledge, hard work and 18 years experience. From that point on Mary has worked long hours learning her new duties, training other clerks to step up to their positions, attended two council meetings per month, numerous committee meetings, planning and zoning meetings and helped with budgets, ordinance indexing, and assisted auditors and the FBI with needed information. No matter what we find along our way, Mary has reported to work every day with a smile and a kind word for the public and for each of us.
