Among her many duties, Lisa handles elections as well as public records. She is in the process of instituting a document imaging system for the City. She has just finished her term as President of the New Mexico Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers and is not only very active in that organization, but also the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and will serve on their Records Committee for the next two years. Her expertise in Records Management has allowed her to instruct her peers at the State and International levels. She serves on the Governor's Historic Records Advisory Board as well as the National COSA Task Force. Lisa has been in the Clerk profession for seventeen years and has received the Certified Municipal Clerk and the Master Municipal Clerk Designation from the IIMC. She is very well respected across the State and Nation. She is a very important ambassador for the Clerk's profession and the City of Artesia. |
