She is the only elected Clerk left in the State of Kentucky. As a newly elected mayor, she has stood beside me to help me learn and understand the role that I play. She has, countless times, helped me in the council meetings with keeping order and flow of the meetings. She is a well organized person. She handles her office efficiently, accurately and is dependable. She is self motivated and works well with the public. She is one of Georgetown's treasures. I could not have appointed anyone that would have performed the job with any more diligence than Sue Lewis. She is outstanding and I thank the good Lord she is my City Clerk. She makes my job much easier and the community benefits from her indispensable knowledge. That is why I, Karen Tingle-Sames, Mayor of the City of Georgetown, nominated Sue Lewis for this honor.
