Linda came to us two years ago replacing our long time retiring clerk, she brought an enthusiasm, professionalism that was needed to the position. As the then acting clerk she aggressively assumed her position not afraid to make changes and pointing out Town Councils short-comings in procedure, code issues and record keeping. While as acting clerk Linda attending the required trainings and seminars and passed her RMC test on the first attempt, this only solidified her position and credibility with Town Council. This Budget year has presented itself with cuts in personnel to stay with-in our CAP spending limits and Linda has been the leader in taking on additional responsibility (like the Township Web site and the Land-Use Planning Board Secretary). She has approached these new roles with the same enthusiasm that brought her to Eastampton, NJ. The entire Town Council relies on Linda for a multitude of tasks and questions as being a Council Manager form of government Linda is our organizer and mastermind for our meetings. Linda deserves more than our resources can allow and she deserves placement on the Municipal Clerks Honor Roll.
