The 2025 Municipal Clerks Honor Roll

For 25 years, the Municipal Clerks Honor Roll has celebrated the people who bring heart, organization, and compassion to local government. This year’s nominations once again shone a light on the remarkable individuals who make their communities stronger simply by showing up every day with dedication, kindness, and professionalism.

Municipal Clerks wear many hats — recordkeepers, problem-solvers, event organizers, and friendly faces behind the counter. But their impact goes far beyond the office. Many step up to volunteer at community events, guide residents through important processes, or lend a hand wherever it’s needed most. They are often the first to arrive, the last to leave, and the ones making sure every detail is handled with care.

Since 2001, General Code has been honored to host this annual recognition during Municipal Clerks Week. The stories and nominations we receive each year reflect a common theme: unwavering commitment. From Clerks embracing new digital tools and streamlining operations to those leading with compassion through challenges big and small, each honoree exemplifies what it means to serve.
