General Code on the Road: Coast-to-Coast Connections in 2025

The first few months of 2025 have taken General Code’s Account Managers and representatives on an exciting journey across the country, attending conferences and municipal educational events from coast to coast. From Washington, New Mexico, and California to Missouri and Texas, and all the way to New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, and Pennsylvania — our team has had the pleasure of connecting with municipal clerks, mayors, building officials, planners, board members, finance officers, and more.

General Code Conferences

One standout highlight this spring was our participation in the National Planning Conference in Denver, where we had the opportunity to engage with urban planners from across the country and showcase how solutions like MapLink™ interactive zoning map, Digital Codes Premium™, Custom I-Codes, and eCode360® online code portal can support more informed, transparent, and accessible planning practices.

Client Community Visits

Another special highlight: Account Manager Faye Moore took to the road for a dedicated trip through Wisconsin, visiting client communities and municipal offices in person. Her journey was filled with warm welcomes, great conversations, and plenty of Midwest charm — including sightings of cheesehead hats and wild turkeys!

At every stop, we’ve appreciated the chance to share how our digital code-centered solutions can help municipalities work more effectively, engage their communities, and plan for the future.

General Code Presentations

We’re also proud to spotlight our team’s contributions to municipal education. Kirk Franklin has continued to deliver his insightful session “The Why of Codification,” while Wayne Childs co-presented “Small Towns – Big Opportunities” alongside AJ Fawver, AICP, CNU-A, CPM, MPA from our partners at Verdunity at the Focus North Texas conference.
