Powering Digital Progress for Municipalities

Communities nationwide continue to rely on General Code to improve public access to local laws, support informed decision making, and advance government transparency. Our digital solutions streamline municipal workflows and empower the staff who serve their communities every day. From TrackBack™ and MapLink™ to Enhanced Graphics, ICC Custom Services and comprehensive code conversion projects, we help transform code content into a flexible, searchable, and fully integrated resource across platforms.

Exciting New Projects

We’re excited to announce recent contracts with four forward-thinking municipalities that have joined the General Code community:

Anchorage, Alaska

The Municipality of Anchorage, AK is partnering with General Code to migrate its municipal code to the eCode360® online code portal. Our codification team will conduct a comprehensive review of the City’s code and regulations, including the evaluation and reformatting of extensive embedded images and tables for improved readability. Anchorage’s eCode will also include TrackBack™, enabling users to easily locate original versions of code provisions for reference. We’re excited to support Anchorage’s eMigrate project and help enhance the clarity and usability of its regulatory content. Welcome!

Santa Clara, California

The City of Santa Clara, CA is partnering with General Code to modernize its online Zoning Ordinance with a clear, user-friendly digital presentation. Through our Enhanced Graphics solution, Santa Clara’s zoning content will be visually engaging, easy to maintain, and accurately displayed within eCode360. We’re proud to support the City’s efforts to promote economic growth and deliver accessible, reliable zoning information to the community.

Henrietta, New York

To further support its commitment to economic growth and accessible information, the Town of Herietta, NY has implemented General Code’s MapLink interactive zoning map. MapLink visually connects zoning regulations from eCode360 to an interactive map, making it easier for users to explore property-specific requirements. With just a few clicks, users can view dimensional standards, permitted uses, zoning districts, and zoom directly to individual parcels or search for properties by land use. Henrietta’s new MapLink portal is available to view here.

Portland, Oregon

The City of Portland, OR is working with General Code and the International Code Council to develop a centralized edition of the 2026 Portland Fire Code. This Custom Services solution will integrate the 2025 Oregon Fire Code with Portland’s local amendments, streamlining code management and improving accessibility across print, PDF, and online platforms, including ICC’s Digital Codes Premium portal. General Code’s codification experts will also provide ongoing editorial maintenance to keep the Code current, accurate, and reliable.

As more municipalities across the U.S. recognize the value of digital solutions, we’re excited to keep expanding our reach and supporting communities of all sizes.
